Spread crushed candy canes on a plate. Moisten the rims of the glasses with water, then press and rotate the rims in the crushed candy canes to coat them evenly.

Combine coffee liqueur, vodka, peppermint extract, and ice in a shaker. Shake vigorously until the mixture is thoroughly chilled.

Fill the prepared glasses with ice cubes. Strain and divide the chilled cocktail mixture evenly into the glasses. Slowly pour the milk over the back of a spoon to create a layered two-tone effect.

Top each drink with a generous amount of whipped cream and a sprinkle of crushed candy cane. Optionally, garnish with a peppermint stick and serve immediately.
