In a blender combine milk, ice cubes, chocolate ice cream, and cookie pieces. Blend on low, gradually increasing to high speed until the mixture is creamy and smooth, about 30 seconds. Scrape down the sides as needed to ensure an even blend.

Check consistency. For a thicker beverage add extra ice or ice cream, for a thinner texture add additional milk and blend briefly.

Pour the blended drink into a tall glass. Top generously with whipped cream and sprinkle with cookie crumbles, pressing slightly so they adhere.

For added richness, blend in a scoop of vanilla ice cream. To add coffee flavor, incorporate a shot of espresso or 0.25 cup cold brew coffee to the blender before processing.
