Place diced chicken, broccoli florets, cooked rice, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, and half of the shredded cheddar cheese into the slow cooker.

Add salt and black pepper generously according to taste and stir to evenly incorporate.

Cover and cook on low heat for 4 to 6 hours until the chicken reaches safe internal temperature and broccoli is tender.
