Preheat oven to 400°F (205°C). Line a rimmed baking sheet with foil and coat lightly with nonstick cooking spray.

Slice each mozzarella stick into three even pieces. In a small bowl, combine oregano, garlic powder, and grated parmesan cheese.

Unroll pizza crust dough onto a clean surface. Cut the dough evenly into 24 pieces using a sharp knife or pizza cutter.

Place one cut cheese piece in center of each dough segment. Enclose cheese completely, pinching edges to seal well, and set seam side down on prepared sheet.

Brush each wrapped dough ball with melted butter. Sprinkle generously with the parmesan-herb mixture, pressing lightly. Top each with a slice of pepperoni.

Bake in preheated oven for 10 to 12 minutes, or until dough is puffed and deep golden brown and cheese inside is melted.

Let cool 1 minute on baking sheet to avoid burning from hot cheese. Serve immediately with warm pizza sauce on the side for dipping.
