Heat whole milk in a microwave-safe measuring cup or small saucepan until just steaming, approximately 1 minute. Place white chocolate chips in a large heatproof bowl. Pour the hot milk over the chocolate chips and whisk gently until fully melted and smooth. Let the mixture cool at room temperature for 15 minutes.

Transfer the cooled white chocolate milk to a blender. Add frozen strawberries, plain yogurt, and protein powder if using. If using low sugar white chocolate, add honey at this stage. Blend on high until thick, creamy, and fully smooth, scraping down the sides of the blender if needed.

Check the smoothie texture. For a thicker smoothie, add extra frozen strawberries or a few ice cubes and blend again. For a thinner texture, add a small splash of milk and blend.

Pour the smoothie evenly between serving glasses. Garnish with fresh strawberry slices or white chocolate shavings, if desired. Enjoy immediately while cold and creamy.
