01 -
Line a baking sheet or cooling rack with parchment paper to set coated cookies.
02 -
Place candy melts into a microwave-safe bowl. Heat at 50% power for 1 minute, stir, then continue heating in 30-second intervals at 50% power, stirring thoroughly until fully smooth and melted. This should take up to 5 minutes depending on microwave strength.
03 -
Using a fork or candy dipper, dip each Oreo cookie into the melted candy coating until fully covered. Allow excess coating to drip off before placing on the prepared parchment.
04 -
Immediately press two M&Ms onto each coated cookie’s sides to form earmuffs. Place a small licorice strip over the top to connect them. Add a unicorn horn sprinkle in the center for the carrot nose.
05 -
Let the coated Oreos rest for approximately 10 minutes until the candy coating is firm to the touch.
06 -
Use black cookie icing to draw two eyes and a smiling mouth on each cookie. Allow the icing to set for an additional 5 minutes before serving or packaging.
