Cut each jumbo biscuit in half and press each piece flat.

Press each flattened biscuit half into the sides of a greased muffin tin cavity to form cups.

In a large skillet over medium heat, brown ground beef with chopped onion until cooked through. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant.

Stir ketchup, mustard, salt, and pepper into the beef mixture. Remove from heat.

Place one or two American cheese cubes at the bottom of each biscuit cup in the muffin tin.

Divide the beef mixture evenly among biscuit cups. Bake in a preheated oven at 190°C (375°F) for 6 to 7 minutes.

Remove cups from the oven, add another cube of cheese on top of the beef, then bake for an additional 7 to 8 minutes.

Allow cups to cool slightly before removing from the muffin tin. Serve topped with pickles, lettuce, and diced onion as desired.
